Although I am not American, January 20, America's presidential inauguration day, seems like the perfect day to start this blog. It's a day for new beginnings and new resolutions!
If you're reading this post, you're likely already familiar with Universe-Online. In that case, dear Governors, I have some news... In the coming months, you will be introduced to a whole new world. A new game, with new lore, and new challenges. If you thought executing tactical plans through space was exciting, wait until you see what's next!
I'll do my best to give you the play-by-play as we get ready for launch and maybe even reveal a few secrets along the way...
For those of you who may have stumbled on this blog by accident, welcome... but you should check out Universe-Online. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Universe-Online may not be the latest indie game released, but it's an ever-changing entity, with constant updates and new features. Build colonies, research technologies, claim bounties, and engage the community... your adventure is about to begin!
This is our way to keep you, and the game community, involved and up-to-date. We don't have a company (yet) or any kind of budget, but somehow, we managed to create a great space strategy game with a fantastic and active game community.Universe-Online was a pipe dream that actually came true and now we hope to keep that dream going and build new ones along the way.
Konstantinos Manos (a.k.a. Kevorque), leads the way in design, development, and everything else Universe-Online.
Dimitri Xanthakis (a.k.a. Archmage) helps with game design and writes the lore and missions.
Thanasis Manos (a.k.a. Strahdvonzar) has taken on the role of Community Director and is responsible for the development of the chat engine.
Manolis Galanopoulos takes credit for game graphics, art, animations, and video.
